Our Mission
Christian Pen Pals Ministry is committed to the work of caring about each of the inmates who reach out to us for help. It is our mission to provide each inmate with at least one Christian friend who will write regularly and minister to his/her need as the Lord leads.
Our Beliefs: The Apostle’s Creed
(All Churches involved with this ministry must agree with the Apostle’s Creed.)
I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Church universal, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
You must be 18 years of age to be able to participate as a CHRISTIAN PEN PAL. Do not give out your Address, but rather use a P.O. Box Address or your church’s or chaplains address for your safety. This Ministry is not about dating or finding a romance relationship but rather our focus in on Christ solely. If you wish to date then there are many other sites specifically for that. We are here to spread the gospel and share Gods love to those incarcerated and bring hope to their prisons via mail. These beloved inmates need Christ and how will they know unless we tell them? Faith cometh by hearing the word of God! Let the Holy Spirit guide you and he will tell you what to write, pray for guidance, wisdom and knowledge, that the Spirit may speak for you that these men/women be touched! We can only pray that Gods Spirit touch them and open up their hearts to our Savior! Don’t worry about anything but pray about everything! This is taken seriously if you are serious and are willing to take time to write to these beloved inmates then this is the place for you but if you cant take it seriously then this is not the place for you, these inmates have been through enough disappointments to go through more. We want to stick to our word and show these inmates that we are honest, because that’s what they are looking for, honest people! We are to be Christ like and deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow him. We want to show them that Christ loves them even if they are incarcerated, because they have hope, with God all things are possible! The Lord loves them so we ought to love them as well. Second commandment, love our neighbor as we love ourselves! We know not love if we don’t love our neighbor, God does not rest in us if we don’t love others. If you still want to be part of this ministry then please fill out a volunteer application and Beth or Jesse will email you back with more information! Glory to God.
